When entering the main entrance of Golden State from Sunshine Plaza, one arrives in Condor Flats. It is based on the Mojave Desert during the aviation days of the early to mid 20th century.

Another sub-land, Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, is home to the Grizzly River Run.

The Bay Area path is modeled after 20th century San Francisco, with models of Victorian houses lining the path.

After leaving The Bay Area, turning left one arrives in the Golden Vine Winery. Here, an attraction, Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar, displays concept art and models of the changes coming by 2012.

Pacific Wharf, modeled after California's 20th-Century wharfs, is the final sub-land.
