Boma - Flavors of Africa is one of the more unique dining experiences found in Walt Disney World, where the spirit of Africa comes alive.

It is an open and natural space surrounded by a kraal-style fence made of sticks. This Boma provides a safe and sheltered area in the bush. In the evening, its golden light pours out as the fire used for cooking lights the dinner table.

The Mara is a counter service restaurant with indoor seating, close to the resort pool.

The cuisine is "American and African" but there's more of the former than the latter offered.

Breakfast, served from 7:00 - 11:00 am, includes sandwiches and platters, freshly made waffles, and pastries. Lunch/Dinner, served 11:00 am - 11:30 pm, is fairly standard with salads, soups, burgers, chicken both grilled and fried and sandwiches.

There's a great bakery that offers fresh baked treats throughout the day. The bakery is open from 6:00am - 11:30 pm.

The "Grab 'n Go" market is convenient if you don't want a hot meal.

Beverages include soft drinks, coffee, tea, milk, juice and beer. Full bottles of South African wine can be purchased.

Jiko - The Cooking Place

Jiko - The Cooking Place is open for dinner from 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

Karibuni and welcome to Jiko. New African cuisine is the focus at this unique restaurant. Open and airy, sculptured birds soar overhead.

The heritage of Africa is reflected in the decor. The rings surrounding the tiled columns is in homage to the Padaung tribe whose woman wore distinctive neck rings. It's this attention to detail that sets Jiko apart.

Tempting aromas from the twin wood burning stoves greet you. The menus are influenced by the cultures of Africa, the Mediterranean Coast, India and Europe.

Sanaa is a unique restaurant located in Kidani Village in Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.

Sample flavorful tandoor oven and slow-cooked specialties inspired by the cultures along the historic spice route. While you eat, look for animals roaming the savannah.

Just as its name — in Swahili — means "work of art," Sanaa offers its Guests beautifully prepared food in an artistic atmosphere.

Before dinner, relax in the comfortable lounge beside the spacious dining room.
