The pep rally has characters that are very similar to those of the characters from the film who sing and act out scenes from the film.

The pep rally also allows a few guests to dance in two scenes with the characters from the film.

The High School Musical 3 Pep Rally travels on the back of a truck down Hollywood Boulevard where it stops in front of the Sorcerer's Hat to play out the important scenes (meaning most popular songs) from the Disney Channel film "High School Musical 3".
