Disney buffs are no doubt aware of the theme park's "Living Character Initiative," where guests of Walt Disney World (and the surrounding parks, like Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot Center) are treated to a live-action experience with some of the more memorable Disney/Pixar animated characters.

I believe the initiative began a couple years ago with the Muppet Mobile Lab, and it continues now with the character Remy from Ratatouille (who hangs around French restaurants at Epcot Center) and the newest edition -- Luxo Jr. (aka the hopping Pixar desk lamp), who visitors to Disney's Hollywood Studios can now see hanging out over at Pixar Place.

Guests can see the Pixar Luxo Jr. character up close at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when he “pops up” from a secondstory window in the Lighting Company building on Pixar Place. During the day, Guests can catch this Audio-Animatronics® figure dancing to the beat of country, disco and even a couple of Disney tunes. At night, he “conducts” the colored lights in the trees of Pixar Place. His appearance times aren’t advertised, but as weather permits, Luxo Jr. hops from behind a shuttered window every 15 minutes.
