Sleeping Beauty Castle, (or Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant) the main entrance to Fantasyland, is the most photographed building at Disneyland Paris.
Standing at 89 feet tall, the graceful spires and towers were inspired by Disney's animated feature, Sleeping Beauty as well as Neuschwanstein Castle in southern Germany.
The Castle features two parts, a dungeon type area in the base featuring a Audio-Animatronic dragon, and above, a concrete balcony walkthrough area with Sleeping Beauty stained glass windows and tapestries.
The fairy tale Castle may look like the real thing, but it is actually made out of steel beams and fiberglass, not bricks.
