In Disneyland, California it is referred to as the Astor Orbitor but in Magic Kingdom, Florida it is spelled as Astro Orbiter (with an e instead of an o).

This attraction, based on the vintage Disney "Rocket Jets" ride, takes guests on a fast-paced flying journey over Tomorrowland.

The theming has been changed to fit in with the rest of Tomorrowland. The "Rocket Jets" attraction has become the location of the current Observatron.

The attraction is based on a drawing made by Leonardo da Vinci almost 5 centuries ago.

The lever in front controls your rocket's up-and-down motion, so if you want to be in control sit in the front position.

The base of the ride is divided into twelve sections and bears the same twelve astrological symbols.
