Marc Davis is probably best known as the father of some of Disney's most memorable animated women, including Cruella De Vil in "101 Dalmatians," Maleficent in "Sleeping Beauty" and Tinker Bell in "Peter Pan." When once asked to choose a favorite among his bevy of grand Disney dames, he replied, "Each of my women characters has her own unique style; I love them all in different ways."

Window 217 honors Gunther R. Lessing

Gordon E. Youngman and A. Fredric (Fred) Leopold were members of Gunther R. Lessing's legal team. Gordon Youngman was a legal counsel who served on the board of directors.

Leopold was a senior partner in Youngman, Hungate and Leopold, a firm that played important roles in the early Disneyland negotiations.

Gunther R. Lessing headed Disney's legal department for many years before the Disney brothers promoted him to vice president and general counsel of Walt Disney Productions.
