Séance Circle

With the thirteen chimes of the grandfather clock still ringing in the air, the Doom Buggies glide into Séance Circle, a dark sanctum in which an age-old ritual is taking place.

A mist-filled crystal ball, surrounded by coulorful tarot cards, sits on a table in the dead center of the room. The infamous Raven sits perched atop a chair directly behind the table. As the Doom Buggies slowly circle the table, guests come face-to-face with their medium, a disembodied spirt -- Madame Leota, according to the Gohost Host -- glowing within the crystal ball.

Madame Leota summons the Mansion's restless spirts and encourages them to appear by reciting suitable surreal incantations:

"Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat.
Call in the spirts, wherever they're at!"

"Rap on a table, it's time to respond,
Send us a message from somewhere beyond!"

"Goblins and ghoulies from last Halloween,
Awaken the spirits with your tambourine!"

"Creepies and crawlies, toads in a pond,
Let there be music from regions beyond!"

"Wizards and witches wherever you dwell,
Give us a hint by ringing a bell!"

Musical instruments float through the air, as a wispy spirit begins to materialize in a far corner of the room.

The voice of Madame Leota was provided by another Disney vetran, Eleanor Audley, also heard as Cinderella's wicked stepmother and the evil Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty.

Madame Leota's face is actually that of WED model builder Leota Toombs. Imagineers shot footage of Leota performing to the audio tracks.
