  Main Street popcorn "churner"

Although the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California is one of the smallest of the Disney Parks, it is packed with little details to discover.

One of the most unique and fun can be found at the popcorn wagons throughout the park.

Sure, other parks sell popcorn, but the wagons in Disneyland are the old-fashioned variety, each featuring a miniature figure cranking away on the mechanism inside.

They are called Roastie-Toasties according to the Imagineering book.

The straw-hatted Barbershop Quartet member can be found in front of City Hall.

There is a circus clown at the other end of Main Street, at the edge of the Plaza Hub. At Christmas time he is relieved by Santa Claus.

The Rocketeer has been recruited for the Tomorrowland cart.

Spinning around like the paddle powering the Mark Twain is a straw-hatted fellow in white-pinstriped pants, obviously a cousin of the Main Street churner. He is between the boat dock and the petrified tree in Frontierland.

The Abominable Snowman with his glowing red eys, can be found in the Fantasyland popcorn cart, appropriately near the Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction.

In Fantasyland, another colorful clown can be found pressed into servitude for all the guests wanting popcorn near the entrance to it's a small world.

Over the Halloween season Oogie-Boogie from The Nightmare before Christmas, takes over the duties normally held by the Haunted Mansion butler figure at the cart in New Orleans Square.

A Jolly Trolley Conductor has been put into service over at Mickey's Toontown.
