The ride vehicles are mine cars named after the Seven Dwarfs. The Dwarfs in the cottage scene are: Doc on mandolin, Grumpy on organ (the organ’s pipes feature wood-carved animals that shove nuts in their mouths) and Happy on accordion. Bashful on guitar, Sleepy on fiddle, and Dopey is on Sneezy’s shoulders complete the musical ensemble. In the scene when the Witch offers the guests the poisoned apple, guests consistently stole the apple. When Fantasyland reopened in 1983, new hologram technology solved the problem of the ever-missing apple. |
Fun Facts Look for the Evil Queen to suddenly appear and glare down at you from out of the uppper window in the attraction entance. Her real name is Queen Grimhilde, and she is Snow White's stepmother. Snow White was the first Technicolor feature-length animated film and at the time of its release in 1937, the most successful film of all time. When the newly restored Snow White's Scary Adventures re-opened in 1983, a new soundtrack was recorded featuring Adriana Castelotti, the original voice of Snow White. There's something peculiar about the apple and spell book found at the entrance to the queue. Take a good look, but don't touch. Sounds like the Evil Queen (Snow White's Wicked Stepmother) is keeping her eye on this enchanted apple.  |
