The grand Crystal Palace restaurant, inspired by the glass domed ceilings of San Francisco's Conservatory of Flowers, the name is befitting this Victorian era building whose right interior is illuminated by skylights, stained glass and walls of paned windows.
The name "Crystal Palace" was probably derived from the glass & iron building of the same name, built in Hyde Park, London for the Great Exhibition in 1851.
