The Horse-Drawn Streetcars enter and leave Main Street from the Car Barn located to the right of the Fire Station, next to Harmony Barber Shop.
This is where the animals rest when not pulling the trolleys, and each has its own stall.
Belgian or Percheron horses pull the trolleys and horseless carriages up and down Main Street.
To keep the street from damage the huge one-ton (2,000 lbs.) horses are shod with special plastic shoes.
At night, the horses live at the Tri-Circle D Ranch, which is located at the Fort Wilderness Campground.
