The Sword in the Stone Ceremony takes place several times throughout the day, check the Guide Map for exact times. Guide maps can be picked up as you enter the park.

This ceremony features Merlin, who will select several people from the audience to attempt to pull the magical sword, Excalibur, from the stone.

One lucky boy or girl will be able to pull the sword from the stone and be appointed King or Queen of the Realm.

The ceremony takes place in front of Cinderella's Golden Carrousel.

There are sign language interpreted performances on Mondays and Thursdays at 2:00 pm - arrive 10 minutes before the show and stand in the left section of the audience. Challenge yourself to extract the magical sword Excalibur from the rock in the King Arthur Carrousel forecourt.

• Several times a day Merlin the Magician selects young squires and ladies from throughout the kingdom for this test of strength and courage.
• If you succeed in this seemingly impossible task, you will be crowned the new monarch of the realm and given a keepsake medallion and certificate.
• This ceremony closed August 15, 2006 and is sorely missed.
