As you enter the Magic Kingdom, you go through a tunnel -- in the center there are stairs that lead up to the railway platform of Main Street Station.

The Magic Kingdom narrow gauge steam railroad runs in a clockwise direction for about one and a half miles around the outskirts of the Magic Kingdom and is a pleasant diversion from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the park.

There are three stations - Main Street Station, Frontierland, and Fantasyland, and a complete circuit takes around 21 minutes.

You can board or exit the train at any of the stations so if you are feeling weary, it is an ideal way to get from one side of the park to the other.

  • Wheelchair access is only available at the Frontierland and the new Fantasyland Storybook Circus stations.

  • If you have a rental stroller, you won't be able to take it with you on the train. You can, however, pick up a replacement stroller when you disembark (just be sure to take your rental receipt and name card with you).
